How to remove mushrooms?

I want to take these out of my tank. Can someone tell me how to dislodge them or cut them off?

Just a suggestion, but if you want permanent removal, I would suggest removing the rock they are attached to and taking it down to your LFS and cash in...if you are looking to simply move them, same thing, move the rock they are attached to. (From the pics, it looks like they are attached to flat plates, if not, ignore the above)

If you cut them off they most likely will grow back. You need to get under the foot, into the rock a bit, to totally get rid of them. Like the above post said, I'd frag them and do a trade at the lfs.

You can have the blasted things! I don't want them to grow back. So it looks like I'll be taking rock and all and maybe I can get more plate rock for them.

I have another big pile forming in the other tank so I was wondering is there anyway at all to get them to release from the rock? They are attached to base rock that can't be taken out.

put them in a high flo erea, an they will detach an they will take the foot with them..its worked for me

Thanks Scott. I will try that and with any luck I'll be rid of them soon.

Digital: They are on plate rock I just don't want to give up my rock to get rid of them but I may take them to the LFS and see if they can water blast them off and I get my rock back.

glad to have ya.. i got ALOT of ideas an info from people on here..
an when ya get one off that ya dont really care about try fraggin it..so that way youll know how to on a more expensive one with more confidence...better to learn an kill a cheap one than a expensive one..
