could probably use a dremel
unfortunately i don't have one available to me at the moment.

You have the old style stock tank,.
The new ones do not have the ribs.
(at least on the 100 gallon ones)

I went to Tractor Supply and got a 1.25 inch bulkhead it was a
but easier to install since I did not have to grind as much away.

I used a Dremel, it is proababy the easiest.

Just my luck i bought the old style. i have a flexible trim saw i think i'm gonna try. then i guess i could use a plam sander to smooth it down.

If you have a drill get a carbide deburring bit or you could get a small grinding stone. Both available at Lowes, homedepot, or graingers. May take some time with the low speed of the drill but will work.
