I have a BTA under MH lights. It has been bleached since puchase from LFS. It used to open and have short tentacles, and eat. It would open more after lights out. I have moved the rock its on and tried different flow to get it to move, thinking to much light. Now it barely opens and wont take food. My H. aurora is doing fine so I dont think its a water or lighting problem. Any ideas?

this it what it used to look like.

I would wonder if the H. aurora could be in warfare with it. It seems sometimes anemones don't mix too well. Your attempt for lower light was a good one. If you're not already, I would suggest using activated carbon and changing it out weekly and doing 15% weekly water changes. And of course protein skimming.

Done all of the above, H aurora is at the bottom of tank in opposite corner so I dont think that is the problem.

Some species of anemone will release their nematocysts into the water column as a defense mechanism, as well as releasing other chemicals to "battle" against other anemones. Perhaps this could be your problem.
