Same happened to another coral that totally died a few days ago.
Is it a goner it do I have options?

Same here, I would guess a pest or a disease that it came with, because it looks very retreated within the skeleton.

New pic. It is showing some brownish stuff coming off.
As mentioned, I dipped it in Resolve before placing them in the tank.
Anything indicating a pest? ..anything on can do?
I have another small torch, a patch of gsp and a frog spawn in the tank looking good at this time.

soo, do you happen to mean Revive? Only resolve I know is a cleaner agent, pretty sure that could be your problem if so lol.

If you uploaded a pic in your last post, I can't see it, but brown stuff coming off sounds like brown jelly disease. Not a good sign. An iodine based dip I believe could help that.

I did mean Revive! Sorry. And here is the pic. Somehow tapatalk didn't take it before.

What kind of lights do you have ? I had a frogspawn head look exactly like that. Got severely burned do to leds. Moved it to a corner and is now growing small new heads in the skeleton after a couple weeks. I lost the whole head just like u are now

Well, thats hope. I have a pair of Hydra26 and they were at the bottom of the tank.
The first dead torch I didn't glue so my urchin is already taking it for a ride, the second one is glued to a rock in the lower half of the tank.

My frogspawn looked horrible for the first couple months of me having it.. and I literally had no idea it was in such bad shape.. until one day I put some old power compacts I bought years ago on the tank.. and it came to life in minutes... I had t5s.. but my tank was too deep for the wattage (noob mistake I guess)
It didn't look as bad as your torch right now.. but it was looking rough

Let me see if I can find some pictures buried deep in my phone lol

First few photos are with the t5s
Then the pcs it extends right out like it should..
Last photo is under the leds now..well few weeks ago anyways.. it's gotten even bigger

I guess moral of my story is thst even if they look like they are gonna die.. if you find what's bothering them and fix it.. they will make a fast recovery...

I hope you can find what's bothering that torch...

I want a torch.. but can't find any local

Thank you. I am glad yours made it. Mine is looking like the first one that died..an empty rubble :(
I have no idea what bothered it. They both were glued to the same piece of rock and doing great for a few weeks until they didn't and went down in one day.

I had a little colony of GSP do the same to me.. doing perfect.. then within a week they were gone

My first torch died from brown jelly disease. No matter what I tried, it just didn't come back. That may be what's going on?

I think I recently read on this forum to keep the skeleton in the tank because in some cases babies can pop off them even when they appear totally gone? Am I crazy or does anyone else remember reading that too?
