This guy in Miami wants to ship be a very large todstool
he and I are afraid it won't make it 5 hours shipped to gainesville alive
any shipping tips?

Use a well insulated box and a small ice pack, but be sure the ice pack doesn't touch the toadstool bag. (Might get too cold that way) A cheap styrofoam cooler with fitted lid would work great. One of the little 6pk kind that the stores love to sell to tourists this time of year.

You can also hit up your lfs and ask them for a free styro box if they have one. Most stores are either throwing them in the dumpsters or sending them back to their local suppliers.

Try and ship it during a week where temps are moderate, so swings wont be so bad. Bag it up, 3-4 times (its softie, so it wont need a full bag of water either...it will be fine exposed for hours).

It will be fine, and you will be happy.

i get corals of all types from CA to NJ overnight-ed UPS all year around.. they use heat packs when needed, a styrofoam box, and double sealed bags.. never had a problem in 8 shipments.
