How to spend the money

So someone gave me a $50 gift cert. for UA. Should I do the responsable thing and get a refractometer if they have one, or should I spend it on a new coral or acan or something like that?

Refractometer.

IMHO, RO/DI system and refractometer should be on the top of the list of things to buy when starting a reef tank.

I skipped the RO/DI for now. I did the math and buying distilled water at Wal-mart for water changes and top-offs it would have taken me about 2 1/2 years before it paid for itself and that is not including replacement filters.
