How to Start?

I want to get a really cool looking mantis shrimp. I recieved the new 6g jbj nano cube. I want to use that if it is big enough? What kind of mantis could I get? I really like the peacock, but I think it is to small. Is there any special needs they have to have? Thanks

a peacock would shatter that thing the first time it hits the glass.
try a g. smithii or a N. wennerae

Hutton- I may be wrong but i thought that the jbj's were made out of acrylic?

TBSaltwater in Florida can get you a N. Wennerae.

inland aquatics in Terre Haute, IN usually gets in different species...I got a platysoma from there, and they said they just sold a smithii before...I was really mad.

i always see smithiis with platysomas! why is this!

smithiis arnt to common but are worth the search, mine has recently developed some purple highlight mixied in to its green
