How to tell the difference between acan and micro?

I hear people talking about acan and micro all the time, but they looks the same to me except in general acans are larger and micros are smaller, which is hard to really draw the line. Could someone please enlighten me? Thanks.

no realy way to tell
i had some micros that were given to me fairly small but the polyps got bigger and eventually looked like acans and he told me that some micros are bigger
this was randyo and it seeems like he knows his stuff
