How to tell the difference between Dendro and Stereo

Hey Guys.

How can i see the difference between the NPS corals Dendro, Sclero and the Stereonephtya that has zooxanthelle in it?

Scleros are the easiest to differentiate. They don't have the calcium-like tissue, or sclerites, growing throughout the body and is usually smooth all around. Also, there aren't any sclerites growing around the polyps.
Dendros and stereos can be a bit trickier. Dendros have sclerites growing around its polyps while steroes don't. Stereos also have a higher density of sclerites growing throughout its body, so it has lower visibility in its trunks than dendros where their trunks are clearer. Dendros also have rather larger trunks whereas stereos are more stalkier. You can also determine the difference with colors; dendros are usually more opaque while stereos are rather dull.
