How To Time Lapse?

I want to make a time lapse video of my 90g full reef.
I have tried a few programs and none seem to work for me.
I am working with a net book windows 7 starter and i just want an easy to use program to take a snapshot every 30-1min for 10 hrs.

i also have a digital camera but i don't think there are time lapse programs for them =P

Are you talking about a webcam? The only way I've done time lapse is with a DSLR with intervalometer. I imagine there must be software to do similar with a webcam, but that'd be some pretty crappy image quality.

yea my webcam takes crap photos whats a intervalometer i am kinda noob when it comes to cameras =P .. sounds expensive

Depends what kinda camera your using also. I use DSLR Remote Pro. Just hook my Xsi to the pc or laptop and record time lapse of my fishtank. If you close to your computer you can use this program rather than an intervalmeter.

If you're using a Canon dSLR with a 2.5mm jack for the remote shutter release, you can use a TI graphing calculator as an intervalometer. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for Nikon. Here is the link:
