How To Trap Mantis Shrimp

I saw the mantis shrimp approx 3 inches in the reef tank. What can i do to catch it? Are there trap for the mantis? I know that shrimp moving very fast. I found one in my filter sock 4months ago a little smaller. I heard mantis shrimp will eat fish whenever it get bigger. Please help

Best of luck catching it. I tried for about 2 months... I decided to just live with it and only keep fish too big for him to go after. I do have to constantly stock snails though =(

A massive amount of Interceptor should take care of him. Him and everything else too

Pull the rock, I had no choice but to pull my rock, it was impossible to catch the beast.

Raskall 311 thanks for the help. I rather full the rock out vice using interceptor. You have got to check out my tank dude, everything look good. Even my brown out digi.

try to lure him in w/ a steak...eeerrr some krill or something.

Just go in after lights out , lower your hand to the bottom of the tank and wiggle your first finger. When you feel a sharp pain, clamp down on his head with your thumb and drag him out of the tank. Have lemon and butter standing by. Just kidding! I have heard you can catch them with a fish trap.
