How to treat gill flukes?

I dosed the tank with 6 oz of prazipro last night. some of the bubble tip anenomes have retracted everything else sps, starfish, cucumbers, look ok..

question.. though.. the bristle worms in my tank I noticed are doing fine.. does this perhaps mean I did not dose enough.. it has only been 10 hours though..

I think the tank volume along with the sump ect is like 735 gallons.

thanks

Need more info on flukes. Does it usually attack one fish or the group. Weird thing is fish are not scratching and eating a lot. But looks like ick. But I am told flukes can look like ick. Cloudy eyes in fish.

I'm sure you read this: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2388423
Flukes do not look like ich. Because the worm is flat and transparent they are very hard to see. They can be confirmed with a FW dip or skin scrape both of which require catching the fish. IME not all fish exhibit all symptoms. I had a flame angel that ate great and never scratched. He was, however, reclusive and after a dip flukes were confirmed.
Flukes can be nearly impossible to eradicate especially if they attach to the gills.

thanks for the info and link... read that years ago.. this confirms to me my initial thoughts that it is ick again and not flukes.. bummer.. 20 fish in a large tank will not be phone to catch with fish traps and move to QT system.. which will have to be enlarged... then will allow DT to go fallow again.

thanks all

Actually the info on that link was only written about 3 months ago.

yes.. I did great link.. today is day 6 of the first prazi.. I still believe it is ick. but to be on the safe side as I already did half the treatment I am following through in case there was some ick. so if I understand correctly .. on day 6 you repeat the process. I am going to run the protein skimmer and uv an ozone ofr a day .. then repeat.. tank sps look good but some have darken a little .. while some look better dark others are taking on a brown tan slightly.. I say this with caution.. because none of my corals have responded negatively to the prazipro treatment.

so skim and ozone for a day then repeat.. is this ok..

thanks all
