How do i stop those anoying emails whenever someone responds to a thread i am subscribed too. It is really starting to become a nusance. thanks for the help in advance.

You can't and still stay subscribed.

click on MY RC, then go to edit options, then check the "no" box for send email when someone subscribes to thread..or the "EMAIL NOTIFACATION" box..

thats what "subscribing " really means. You subscribe to get emails

It can be done! I was previously "subscribed" to threads and didn't receive email notification. However, ever since I started the Norther New York Reef Society (NNYRS) and was asked by the mod to provide an email address as part of the process, I too have been receiving them., but only for that forum. Although I do subscribe to URS, the sale forums, and the Albany, NY forum and they are under "My RC" I don't get the notifications for those forums, just NNYRS. If you figure it out let us know, I'd like to turn it off as well.
