How do I determine the sex of a mantis?

Look at the underneath side of your mantis, just behind the third (last) pair of pereiopods. If you see two little "sticks", it's a male. If you see two spots on it's underside, it's a female.

I only see one spot, but i'll try to enlarge a picture. Maybe that will help.

Perhaps it's one spot, I can't remember. But I do know about the "sticks". All my mantis are male. ????
