How will these guys get along?

I have a 6 Gallon fluval edge I have converted.

I want 2 pom poms and 2 porsilin crabs in the tank. How do you guys think they will get along?
What have your experience been with this combination and any interesting stories about these stock choices?.

I don't have experience with either of those, but from what I know they aren't very aggressive.

I've had them together in a 20g without issue. Pom pom's are very reclusive and porcelains are pretty shy themselves.

I don't think you'll have any problems with them getting along. They'll likely avoid one-another altogether and find their own little hiding places in the tank to stick to as a home base.

I would be more worried about supporting those crabs in a 6 gallon. I have struggled with both of those species in the past (1 of each in a 9 gallon), and they require quite a bit of attention and spot-feeding. Your system likely won't be able to support them without that. There just isn't enough particle matter or detritus floating around in a 6-gallon for that, especially if you have a cleaner tank.

I'm not saying it's not possible, I'm just saying it will require extra effort. They are both really cool little species and fun to have, so best of luck.

Thank you for the advice. I have had these both before but never at the same time. The pompom is going to be the hard one to feed. The porcelain I will spot feed like before. Reef roids seemed to work well. They will not be going in right away as I am building up biodiversity in the tank right now.
