Howbout 2.5 of 3

Here I got a 3 in 1 for you. My work just told me there closing the doors on march 22. So now I look at work and think this is the last time I'm going to see this place, the place I've spent the last 3 years at. Oh well life gos on.

I am sorry about your job. That truely sucks. There are too many good people loseing thier jobs. It is right. If you need anything, Hopefully I can help. Just let me know.

I'm betting it's a short in the door number pad set. The cold and ice probably seeped in there and is acting up causing it to go off and on like someone was pushing buttons.

If you think it's the battery, clean the battery terminals first. I'm sure they have a bunch of corrosion buildup if you never cleaned them.

I will have him relook at the battery tomorrow. I will also ask him if there is someway to disengage the key pad. I am hoping that if it is disengaged it will stop all of this.

i really doubt it is the battery. voltage variations cause more problems wene the car is running than just sitting in the parking lot.

Check with others who have the same model. If there is a board for us here I am sure there is one for Lincolns.

One google search

The internet is the greatest inovation ever. No contest.

Did you try asking in this forum? They have an electrical forum that might be able to help.

That is all they do is talk about cars, what a wierd bunch of people

I also found it strange that a group of people, mostly adults would be so involved with something that they would put a web site together for it. So they can sit there all day a talk about it.
Very strange, I think those people may need help:rollface:
I did post on there, They moved me to the towncar section. I guess us towncar people cannot mingle Mark VIII people, There are rules you know. As of last night when I left for work, no one had any idea. I had one response, and they were scratching thier head also. I will check it later. They were probley all at the opera.
