HP vs LP tanks

Besides the PSI, what's the difference between LP (rated for 2250PSI) and HP (rated for 3500PSI)? Is there an advantage to one or the other? Disadvantages?

Depends on if you have a dive shop that will jack up your LP tanks. LP tanks are bigger and heavier but hold alot of air if you can get them over filled. Alot of places won't for safety purposes so sticking to HP tanks is better. HP tanks are generally more expensive to buy.

What steelcity said, it nice when you have a dive shop that will fill them bad boys up. I also like the LP tanks because they are heavier....I don't have to add any weight!

If you can't get you LDS to overfill your LP tanks then there's no real advantage to having big, heavy tanks then. HPs are lighter and easy to carry around.
