So while I was picking up the flamethrower naturally I looked over the rest of her livestock and saw a few things that I like and some I already own. I knew she was getting out (what a shame) and thought I would help her out.
She gave me a good price on half her stock including;
Cup coral (looks like LA Lakers
Toadstool (neon tip like the one I have)
Rainbow wellsi (8 inch beast)
Setosa
Superman monti (big chunk, already own)
red chalice (already own)
green w/pink chalice (nice)
watermelon chalice frag (3 eyes)
hammer coral (branching 10 heads)
aquaman lobo frag (head and a half)
huge duncan colony (different than what I already have)
sunset monti

So I thought I was helping her out big time and I go to pick it up last night and she had already sold her fish and some of the corals that I didn't want. She has a good rep locally and she should have no problem getting rid of the rest.

Anyway the stock tank is filling up with frags and I still want buy more stuff...so I better get going on the sump and frag shelf for the stock tank.
I will try to get some pictures of the new stuff soon.

Sorry for the lack of updates

I finally cleaned up the equipment room. Now both tanks have dedicated GFCI circuits and wires are much more clean (and safe).

After cleaning out all of the trash and building a work surface,

I now have a frag station.

I was so proud of my self that I went out and got a new fish at Premium.

The water supply at the house has gone to $#!t.
My tank has been going the wrong way for the better part of the summer and I think I know why. To start off I recently when back to work and have been so busy that it was all I could do to find time to feed the fish, let alone diagnose and fix problems. But after noticing that the shower water had seem to become even harder over the summers drouth, I decided to check my RODI unit even thought I changed all filters in May. To my surprise the supply was up past 400ppm on the TDS, and the RODI output was at 80+ppm. WOW!!!
So I went out and bought a way better 5 stage RODI unit, but I have not installed it yet.
So I installed a whole house water softener and that has brought the RODI machine still in place back to a 10ppm output, but I still plan on installing the new RODI machine.

I plan on doing a 40 gallon water change a week for a month and add a UV unit to the tank until I get the algae back under control.

Does anyone have any other suggestions how to counteract possible months of bad water?
