huge skimmer q?

I'm setting up a short (24") skimmer, with 2 x 10" wide risers and 4 beckets for the tank. but I noticed that the injectors are plumbed with 1/2" inlets. I am using a sequence hammerhead (5800 gph) to push the 4 injectors. Will this work or do I need larger inlets (3/4" or 1")?
