yeh but i'd rather make it to the playoffs and not win the cup then not make it to the playoffs at all

We made it to the playoffs the 8 years before he was with the blues and the following 6 years after he left...Don't get me wrong, I love brett hull but we needed more to get over the hump. I still watch EVERY game. Hard to sometimes but have to take the good with the bad. I'll take 25 straight years of playoffs to every one year (looks like 2 coming) every day of the week

At some point I'd prefer to see them not even make it into the playoffs though if they can't contend. Not to mention the first 3 (consecutive times they've been to the stanley cup) in which they got their brains bashed in.
I'm seeing too much dump and chase crap which makes me think keenan is lurking in the stands

your right, that line never gets old.
give the blues a year or two maybe three to rebuild. The past owners didn't know what they were doing nor give a chit about hockey. The current owners are smart. Rebuild the foundation the future and then dominate. True hockey fans. Ceiling Fans :thumbsup:

Let's just hope they rebuild with some speed instead of that slow but hard hitting northeast. (I don't know how much defensive hard hitting we'll see anymore with the new rules)
Too bad we ended up with eric johnson. Wouldn't you have loved to be up there the last couple years!!! Ovechkin and Crosby!!! Wow!
I wouldn't mind adding someone like Danny Heatly

Dany Heatley is on my Fantasy Team 16 goals and 17 assists, dude is awesome. trouble is you gotta have someone who can pass the puck to him. He would be nice.
I think we did good by picking up Guerin.
Goal tending Jeez, Many Legace what the heck happened to him. At this point I would take even CuJo back!

Yeah, not sure what happened with legace. I personally thought he was a great pickup...But, it's up to him now.
I dig guerin too but I don't like having so many of our signings this year on 1 year deals as it leaves to much in the air every year rather than trying to get people to gel...Sucked that Jay McKee got hurt twice...Lot's of factors and still a long season but would like to add somebody because it's either now or never. We have a chance to make a run to at least get into the playoffs and we don't want to become one of those teams who dumps salary.
