Humidity problem with your tank??

do any of you have a humidity problem with your tanks in your basement ? my basement is unfinished but i have insolation up on the walls. i am running a dyhumidifier but when i pull back the insolation from the walls , the osb is soaked and this is threw out the whole basement. tank size is 300, 80 gallon sump and 40 gal frag tank. all open top. well let me know what u all think i post pics in a bit.

I have my 150 sump and 150 fuge for my display in my garage and just hooked up exhaust fan to run 24/7. I was getting a little mold on walls with all my unwanted wc going on my floors. From what I have read the dehumidifiers are not that efficent. Do you have any pics of your setup and basement?

Are you sure this is from the tank and not a cracked wall behind it? Which ever it is I would look into heat/air exchanger. This is not looking good. Also how big is your basement?

FWIW, That plastic will make things worse....It doesn't allow the moisture to evaporate unless it is completely sealed with no cuts,etc..... You really need to get some ventilation going in you basement......exhaust fans, AC, dehumidifiers or something to prevent mold from starting.

i love my. easy install ,no more moister
you needed one bad with that size tank,,look in craiglist ,,,i found brandnew one for 300 buck,,,installed by my self,,,goodluck
