Humidity removal???

What is everyone using on their large tanks? I am about to finally start setting up my 300. I have looked at a vortec fan to remove humidity, but what kind of controller to get? I figure one that I can manually set, but what kind?

I got a in room airconditioner. Cost me about $400 and it takes about 3 gallons of water out of the air daily plus what it blows outside, and keeps the fish room cool.

I absolutely love it

Here in the dry-air (static electricity) capital of the US, I get away with a Fantech fan with a variable speed control. I just manually adjust flow to suit the conditions and dump fish room air directly outside. I do rely on outside makeup air as well which comes in at 10-60% humidity depending on season.

My tank will be in the middle of the house so I will have to go thru the attic. I thought I would put the fan in the attic and duct the humid air up and out.

Now the problem is pressure in the house. I really don't want to keep a window cracked for "make up air". Is it feesable to duct the humid air to a dehumidifyer? The biggest problem I see would be heat, which I really don't want either.
