I'll be heading out Friday night and not returning till Tuesday. My best friends cousin owns 750 acres near Perryville that we have hunted on for some 20 years now. A couple of us have already killed deer with our bows. We process our own deer and freeze it till after muzzleloading season, then we will make and smoke our own deer sausage as a group. Last year, we processed 12 deer and smoked 300 lbs of deer sausage. It takes a whole weekend and 8 guys to make it. It's a lot of work but a good time though. There's deer steaks for dinner each night and then poker. To all you deer hunters, good luck and be safe this season!
