Just a quick follow-up. i did some more research, and yeah, as mentioned by (I think) MC, those small Honda generators have super-clean output. From what I've read, it's pure sine wave, not modified sine wave. Yamaha makes a couple models, as does Subaru, and another company I forget. There's a couple on ebay locally, so mebbe you can save a few bucks?

Checkout www.generatordirect.net, which is in Miami. Medley area, I believe. They have everything from like 800W to multiple-megawatts !
