Yeah, I didn't realize how much of a killer this guy is until he was in my tank.
But, I have room for him, I just need to find a permanent spot and really secure him so he won't topple onto lower corals.
The green color is just amazing, easily one of the most vibrant corals I've ever come across.
I've researched that 2" clearence around it should be safe - any opinions?
I've always heard that but none of mine have ever extended sweepers, one of mine actually grew out to within a 1/4" of a Monti cap and never caused any problems, i did frag that limb off before it actually touched though.
I'd say 2-3 inches should be more then enough room for safety just in case.......
