Hydor 1050 reassembly ?

Crush Coral

I took my 1050s apart and cleaned them since they had stopped turning. Now I am not sure where the O-rings go having not noticed that they were in there when disassemling them. From the exploded diagram that came with them it looks like there are two O-rings but can not tell for sure. Anyone help out with this?
Thanks

The rings go in the hole (one on each side) that the impeller rod goes through to keep it alligned and are also supposed to prevent the impeller from reversing direction when stopped and started.

I think I am remembering that correctly but don't have my pumps in front of me.

So there are two on each pump? I am asking because with two 1050s and having cleaned both, I am not sure if I lost any O-rings.
Thanks

If you are holding the "œo-rings" then you have a problem wing piece. Those pieces should not be coming out of the wing piece. The thinner one goes into the hole first and then the thicker one.

If you purchased the first release of the Evolution, then you have the "œold" wing pieces. The picture below is from the Hydor site, where they show the "œold" and "œnew" wing pieces. If you have the old ones, Hydor will replace them at no charge. Just send them an email letting them know how many you need along with your address.

That was great info redfishblewfish!!!!!! I do have the old version since I ordered them as soon as they came out. Really do like them except that I have noticed that they are stopping due to gunk on the impeller shaft. Thanks again.
