hydor flo and jbj12dx

I have a JBJ12dx and I am looking for directions on how to install the hydor flo on the 12dx. I remeber seeing a thread with step by step directions, but cannot find it anymore. Does anyone have the thread available ro can anyone give me new directions. Thanks.

The Hydor comes with all the adapters, all you need to do is take off the stock locline flare fitting and replace with the hydor..Some people have used teflon tape to make a snugger fit, but I did not need it even with a MJ900...Probally the simplest mod you can make...

yeah, choose the adaptor that fits and stick it on there. simple! at first mine stayed fine but started to fall off, so i used teflon tape and it has worked great! i'd recommend that anyway, just so you dont have any trouble with it.

I don't know if this was the thread you were talking about. I upgraded the to the maxi jet 1200 for pump and am happy with it. I like the 45 degree elbow facing slightly down and towards the center of the tank as well. Gets much better flow and the flow hits more of the water surface area.

I purchased a surface skimmer for 10$'s thats clear and really love it.
