Hydor Koralia 1400 starts up in reverse

Anyone have a Hydor Koralia start in reverse when you plugged it in? I had one of two do that when I plugged it in for the first time. I unplugged and replugged it in several times but it always started in reverse. The other one ran fine.

I took the cover off and plugged it in and it still ran in reverse. I stuck my hand in while it was running in reverse and stopped the propellers and spun it the other way. It kept going in the "correct" way. It's running fine now but I'm not real keen on turning it off now.

Anyone have a similar experience?

Never mind, I just saw that it is running correctly now. If I remember correctly, there is a small notch on the propeller that is supposed to make it spin in the correct direction. If the propeller gets moved the notch won't catch and it can spin backwards.

Also, make sure the little rubber bumper is on the cover. That's suppose to force it go in the right direction.

If you contact Koralia, they have a kit that fixes the reverse issue.

My tunze 6045 will do it, I just place my hand over the front of it and it will run correctly. I have always been too lazy to do anything about it because they are in my sump and they never get turned off.
