During a tank move a while back I stupidly stuck the two sides of the magnets together with nothing in between them. Since then I have not been able to attach them in the tank using the magnets, I just left them sitting on bottom of tank(bare bottom). Is there anything I can do to fix these, did I do something to the magnitivity?

They should still work fine, I dont understand where your issue is?

I cannot get them to connect through the glass due to something with the magnets

i had mine stick together like that, no problems after i pulled them apart. Did you check to see if you cracked a magnet? The rubber boot over the magnet pulls off.

Depending on how hard/fast they stuck together, i wouldn't be surprised if it broke the magnet. Whenever i've seen magnets get broken in the past, the magnetic properties completely change. I think that would cause what you're seeing.
