Hydra Fifty Two Coverage.

Hello everybody,

I just want to know if anyone of you could help me. I'm about to receive a 37x37x10 shallow rimless tank. I will raise sps, lps and some softies. My doubt is, one hydra 52 will provide me enough coverage or do I need two units? I don't plan to place any rocks or corals near the corners either.
Or two 160w maxspect razors would be a better option?
Best regards,

I have 3 of the 52's on a 72 x 24 x 31 and the coverage is just right although AI advertises it will cover a tank 36 x 36 There are some out there that are running a 36 wide tank with one and they say the lighting coverage is good and are growing sps, I would suggest being as your tank is so shallow buy one see how you like it and if you feel its not enough then purchase another. I have my 52's for about a month and I really like the color beats the 6 Sols I had hands down

Thank you very much, Mark. In fact, I decided to get two Hydras 52 and a director. I want to be able to grow some sps all around the tank and not just in the middle.

Regards,
