hydroid help needed

Yesterday I noticed that my clam's mantle was looking pinched/irritated in a small area. Upon closer inspection, there is a hydroid growing on its shell, near the mantle, and I believe it is getting stung. Can anybody advise me on what to do? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

you can try lemon juce and a neadle or scrap it off
