Anyone know how to get rid of these?

This is not my picture but it is the exact species of hydroids I am having issues with.

Please chime in.

had them for awhile then they went away on there own. I tried kalk paste didn't kill them, read others covering in putty burning with a torch or using an electric toothbrush. Might be an excess nutrient thing or just one of those phases a tank goes through.

All the things you mentioned will not be possible without tearing my whole tank apart, fragging things and then starting over, which I do not want to do. Tank is going on 3 years up and running. I may have to wait it out and see if they just go away. I am changing my feeding schedule and what I feed my fish to start.

Any other suggestions? Fish or slug that will eat them?

my current tank was also up about 3yrs when I first noticed them. For fish had came across CBB and Potters Angels can be hit or miss. Ended up got a PA to try but as it didn't make it out of the QT, can't say.

I also had them for a few months when my tank was new and tehy eventually all went away.
Possibility that they live off of phos or trates as both of those were much higher than they are now.

Ditto what jstdv8 said. Had them for a while (the jellyfish kind) then they disappeared. They're living off of extra nutrients in your system.
