Hydroids

You need to get some panacur. Seahorsesource.com carries it.
Some corals and snails won't live through it.

if some corals and snails won't live through it it is no good for a reef tank. Better to keep the hydroids than to risk crashig your system.
I've been waiting for someone to import a reef safe critter thats eat them, so far nothing. They must have some enemies or some reef safe critter that finds them delicious

It depends on the type of seahorses kept. If this is a dwarf tank then the hydroids will wipe them out.

If it is a dwarf tank or fry tank that you never plan to house inverts or corals in, then dose it with Panacur (fenbendizole). If it is a tank that you cannot dose with Panacur, then you need to keep your fry/dwarves in something that you can dose so that they are safe from the hydroids.

There is a nudi that will eat hydroids, but I wouldn't risk putting it in a dwarf tank or a fry tank. It will consume the hydroids and then starve, and its death will likely wipe out the rest of the tank. And if removed before (to prevent dying in the tank), the hydroids will return.
