Hypermelanization

Does it ever go away ? I have 2 clowns - a small true Percula that has started to get more black (I think he is maturing that way) and I also acquired an Ocellaris that was perfectly fine in his previous tank and was in QT for a few weeks and now in my tank for @ 3 weeks...he is starting to get black spots on his orange. I'm sure it isn't black ich as the spots are larger. They both seem to host in my GSP, I have no anemonies and I never see then near my zoos.

Do these spots ever go away ? Anything I can do / feed them ? I'm really tempted to just buy a larger more mature pair of clowns....

Any info is greatly appreciated !

My male clown has something similar to this, but it may be the spawning or something, it has yet to recede, but it looks kinda nice, so I don't mind

The black spots usually happen when a clown has accepted a new or an unnatural host (your GSP). It almost always goes away.

I think then I have something different, I'll include pics when I get a memory card or when I find time to upload and save the old pics on my camera.
