Hypo and Prazi at the same time???

Just wondering if anyone has done this. I have a couple of dwarf angels in QT right now under hyposalinity. They are eating fine, taking pretty much all flakes, pellets, and frozens. Would dosing Prazi during hypo be too much stress on them? Or should I wait until hypo is done and the QT is back to normal salinity? I have played it safe in the past and have always done the two separately but was curious about shortening the QT time. Any input is much appreciated

I did it twice, and lost the dwarf both times.

I do not know if it was related to the treatment or if the fish were on the way out, but both fish stopped eating and eventually died.

If there is a next time, I will do the treatments separate.

IMO, its never a good idea to treat more than one thing at a time. however, I think PraziPro is a very safe med and easy on fish The phone # of PraziPro's tech support is on the bottle---I'd give them a call.

i have done it several times but dont start both at the same time, wait one week after acheiving hypo to start prazi

Just curious as to how long you actually had the angels? I've had mine for 3 weeks now and I wondered the same thing you mentioned, if they were doomed from the beginning.

I would take the manufacturer's word in most cases if it was a piece of hardware, but when it comes to meds, different fish will likely react differently. That is why I wanted to know personal experiences, if applicable. These two are not a couple of fish I would take any chances with, although I can say that for all of my fishies

I've had the fish for 3 weeks and they are going into the second week of hypo right now. Did you do both on dwarf angels or was it other types of fish completely? Thanks.
