Fish Mother
I put two small clowns and a goby that I purchased from my LFS in a 10 gal Q tank. Two days later the clowns came up with ich. Treated with paraguard for three days but they got worse. Stopped paraguard and allowed 24 hours to pass and added a new carbon filter to the HOB. Dropped the salinity to 1.009 over 48 hours. The clowns were looking much better the next day with no signs of ich at all at day 3. But on day 3 they stopped eating and showing interest in food by swimming energetically to the top. Day 4 still no interest in food. They also seem to have lost their spark and don't swim around as energetically. Otherwise they look completely fine. The goby is eating and seems fine. Why aren't they eating and is there any way I can entice them to eat? I have tried Selcon laden mysis, tried shrimp, clams...nothing works. I calibrated my refractometer with a seawater standard and have been exact in my salinity with no wavering from 1.009. I've had clowns in hypo before and they did fine. The water temp is 81. These clowns are tank raised on mysis.:sad2:
