Hypo for a fish exposed to ich but doesn't show signs?

Ended up with a clown for my pico, but he came from a tank where other livestock had ich. Pulled everything from the pico and put it in my mixed reef except for LS. Lowered salinity from 1.025 to 1.021 and dripped him for an hour. My plan was to keep dropping it till it's in the 008 range and hold there for three weeks and then add back the LR and start stocking corals. This will be the only fish in this tank. Also what temp should I keep it at? My usual is 78deg.

Actually 6 was a typo I meant to say 8, why risk it. I once lost over $1500 in livestock due to not doing a proper QT and trust me when I say that will be the last time. I am currently planning a 365 DT and have already began the QT process and it will be months before I get the DT running. You took the time to set up a QT for a reason so let it serve its purpose. Rushing will only come bsck to haunt you.
