I have a potters angel in QT and noticed it flashing and some light ich, and the flasher wrasse in there has quite a bit on him. The potters has just started accepting pellet and frozen, but is also grazes on the few pieces of live rock in the QT. My question is, should I leave it in there for the benefit of the angel so it can eat the algae or will it cause a bigger problem as far as ammonia from die off? I have found a many different opinions on this matter and just wondering if anyone has some clearer insight on this matter. Thanks.

I've done it for other reasons, you will get ammonia from die off. I would take it out if your only reason is for grazing. There are algae food you can give him instead. That why people don't put LR in QT either it get soaked with med like copper or ammonia spikes.

You may also want to be careful using hypo on a potters. In the past I have tried using hypo on potters and lost every one. Some of the dwarf angels do not handle it well at all. I would use whatever treatment method you have decided on first before you use the hypo and see how the fish handles that. They are very sensitive fish.
