I only have a swing arm and glass hydrometer and I just got done moving my fish to a QT tank. Both the swing arm and the glass hydrometer were recently calibrated with the LFS refractometer (at 1.024).
So the question is would there be value to lower the SG to around 1.012 - 1.013 (based on the reeding from the hydrometers) for the benifit of the fish until I can get a refractometer to further lower the SG to 1.09 or so.
My other option at this point would be to go the copper route and I would rather not do that.
Thanks
