Hello

Im thinking of doing a hyposalinitet in my DT, Im having som small problems whit ich, That i would love too get ridt of.

I know that the right thing too doo is chatching the fish and put them in QT and if i hat know that from the begining a had also done that.

But that is to late now, so thats why a am thinking of a hypo in my DT.My tank is a 250 Gallon fish only whit a lot of live rock, no corals or anything.Just a lot off fish.

Is it possibel or is it a bad thing to do, hope that there are some body that have so experience to guide me.

Sorry fore my bad english but are from denmark

Bad thing to do, all your bacteria will either die or hibernate, also you may not see it but rocks are covered with small organisms that will die, all that combined and your fish producing waste will cause an ammonia spike and probably kill all your fish.

Recommendatios remove your fish from tank or if you don't have sand and it's easier you could remove your live rock from the tank

I agree that this is a really bad idea. Everything on your rocks and in your sand will die and you'll likely get a huge ammonia spike.
