hyposalinity

i need help with treating my tusk with hyposalinity..... i have never done this, and am a little worried to try it on such an expensive and delicate specimin.......... help... i have read the forum about this, but am very reluctant to try, but if i dont try something, i am going to loose him......

i used hyposaltanity on my falame angel when he was in the first stages of velvet, then i moved him to a hospital tank were he later died: (, but if u dont do anything the fish will die anyways so i would think better to try and he might live then to just let him die

hmm I think I am just like you dietz I read alot of posts about hypo but never really tried it. Maybe some pros can give you a push,

Hypo has no impact on velvet

Kevin is correct as to hypo not working on velvet.

What are you trying to treat?
