I am a bit confused about "L" ports, looking for some clarification.

I have read the manual but I am still a bit confused.

My question pertains to I Bars and L ports.

If I am using the the VSL 5 splitter from L1/L2 to 2 I Bars, are the I bars able to come on and off at separate times or do they have to turn on and off at the same time?

assign L1 to illumination 1 and L2 to illumination 2
