When ever your raise your ALK significantly from being low it will retard the corals growth. As will lowering your PO4 drastically.

Wait two weeks with your ALK being at 9 and you should notice them starting to grow again, and when they get adjusted they should grow faster at the more suitable ALK level.

I just had a big issue with Salifert on Alk and CA-----they were not expired and reading WAYYY off!!!!!!!!!From GWA and CPE

Matt, what did the Mag. test out at? I agree with not chasing numbers, it will make you crazy.
