I am slow.....is this a birdsnest or montipora digitata.

What is the best way to tell for future reference.....spikes at the ends? What would you guess a piece this size is worth?

not a monti, its a type of birdsnest or pocillopora. Looks like a standard green birdsnest

Thank you sir. So many variations of things out there it is really hard for me to tell. I have three that have grown like weeds over the last year.

Looks to be what is sometimes called a green tipped birdsnest.

I bought one based on the description. Grows like a weed and I finally got rid of mine. I never thought it looked that great.
