I boght my Nano today

I made the plunge and bought my first Nano tank today. I know many people are against them but I did end up getting an all in one system. I put some thought into it and for what I plan on keeping in there I should be o.k. The main focus of this tank is for my pair of mated false percs, it will have a decent amount of live rock, sand bottom and from there I don't know what else.

The oceanic Biocube seems really nice though compaired to some of the other ones. It has a dual 24 Watt power compact set-up, 1 10,000K and one Actinic bulb, two seperate external ballasts. Two LED blue moon lights. Two cooling fans, which I really like. It has a 106 gallon per hour recirculating pump but I plan on putting another powerhead in it as well for more circulation if that is not enough, either that or just upgrade the pump. The whole hood hinges as well as another smaller "feeding" door. The lights are on seperate switches for the actinic and 10000K and the moon lights are on their own chord.

I'm going to take some pictures later as I set it up.

Congratulations! Be sure and keep us informed on the progress of your new tank. Pics are always nice :D

Good luck with your tanks. Contact me if you need some help. Mine has been up for a couple months now.

I have some questions already..lol.

Have you found anything you don't like about the tank yet?

Anything you wish you would have done different in the begining while you were setting it up?

Did you leave the bio-balls in the back or take them out?

Did you upgrade your pump, and if not do you feel it's enough flow for your tank or would you upgrade it to something else (if so what did you use)?

Hmmm....I think that's it for now.

good luck I just bought a nano tank today. Are you going to run a protein skimmer also do you think 10 pounds of live rock will be enough
