I cant tell if this one is a true perc

Well i got 2 today..1 I know is DEF a true perc

Then i got this one..It kinda reminds me of a ORA true perc that isnt mature yet..I went by the fact that the eye is not all black like on the Ocellaris

it seems when i put the 2nd one in the tank..The first true perc instantly took a liking to it as it wouldnt stop following it and kept trying to display itself to the new one like all the other pairs I have seen.

Looks like an oscellaris to me, or a tank raised perc.

1st is a true perc. 2nd is an occelaris.

That following is actually a sign of aggression more than anything else.

Are you sure, What are you going by..I went by when i bought it from teh eyes not being all black like the false ones. But then if I count the dorsal fins there are 10 but there is that really tiny first one that gives it 11 to make it false. I am kinda confused, do true percs pair with false ones ever. Cause these 2 seem to like each other..they are sharing the frogspawn and the blacker one is doing that twitch to it sub missing to it.

I hope so. How long does it take before the black starts to show up. Cause this one is bigger then the one with the black on it so it almost seems like it could be just as old but still no black yet.

some true percs dont get the black.
