I.D help please

Hi all I am not a Zoanthid addict yet. I received some from a friend an don't know what they are. Any help would be appriciated.
1. purple/maroon ring with green center and redish skirt

2. multi but the green has a star pattern not a good pic though

3. basic pink

4. more of a peach, the pic is not very good. sorry

5. the yellow is very bright

6. last is this red center

I am no ID expert, but I will say this.. given good lighting, and time.. those colonies are going to colour up like crazy. Moreso thatn they already are.. but I can see a ton of potential in all of those colonies.

Very nice colonies . (PS, the second multi-zoo colony has some pink panther's on them, that's all I know)

PS: Did I mention, nice colonies? :lol:

I doubt any of them have names but they are very nice.

With the thousands of color morphs it is not possible to name all zoa's we see. For a decent list check out the www.zoaid.com gallery

the halide is like new, the pc is kinda dim, need to replace those bulbs.

Vince, the pics are hard to ID but I will give it a try. To verify that I am correct, go to the ZoaID website and look at the pictures on that site. Compare them to yours to see if they match.

This is the source I use for naming. I employ a different technique for color ID, but this will come in the future.

1. Cat Eyes with Green crossettes

I gave up trying to ID my zoas. All I know is that they are in my tank and that they are beautiful. You definately have a great collection there. Great color variation too!! Good luck on the IDs and when you lose interest in zoas (since you're not an addict) I'm sure there will be plenty of addicts that will appreciate them as much as you did. He, he, he.
