I bought this labeled as a McCosker but once it settle in and took notice of my female McCosker I do not believe it is one.

I think it's a Yellowfin Flasher Wrasse, Paracheilinus flavianalis

one dorsal, could be mccoskers. However there have been some weird flasher wrasses coming into the hobby lately. May be an unknown. Looks nice though!

Despite the single spike on the dorsal fin, I doubt this is McCoskers. But I do not know what is IS. Matt may be right.

Paracheilinus flavianalis - Yellow Fin Flasher

It is clearly not since it only has a single dorsal spike.

mccoskers have different color patterns to them, so it could be a color morph of the usually seen mccoskers. But there have been a lot of unidentified flashers coming in lately.

it is a yellowfin flasher..the all yellow anal fin is a dead give away and the single filament is found on the yellow fin..i have kept one with just one and the other had four filaments..the mcosker has a single filament and a red and yellow anal fin..yellow fin flashers have 1-4 filamnets and carpenters has 2-4 and then the mcoskers has just a single
