It looks like it is bleaching, try putting it in a lower light spot, and slowly acclamating it to your lights. You can frag if you want, then put the 2 peices in differing light conditions to improve the chance of servival for one.

It's only under a 20" Sunpod with a 70W 14000k bulb (10g display). I don't think there's too much light but possibly too little? It came from ~500W.

My main concern is whether or not it will live. At first I was 75% sure it was going to pull through but now my faith is beginning to wither.

On a side note, I don't think I'm going to frag it.

I wouldnââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t frag it until I saw tissue falling off, it still looks like it will be ok.

I'm considering putting it back into the tank from which it came until it's regained it's health. What do you all think about that?

Bleaching does not occur only because of light, (the real reefs bleach from temprature from time to time),.... it can also be from extream change, or stress (like going from sal of 1.025 to tap water loaded with clorine ;) ) Puting it in lower light only helps it heal. It is always a good idea to aclamate any new frag to your lighting, wether or not it is higher or lower light, it is more aclamation to your tank without adding the problem of light, then just to the change in light.

Honstally, this does give it a better shot, but do you really want to do that?
