I didn't id this correctly

I've had this frag for a while now and thought it was an Acan. David looked at it today and said it looked like a blasto. I've never really looked into those before and just assumed it was a different variety of Acan. Here is a pic.

That is 100% Acanthastrea lordhowensis.

there are different types of acans other than lords .. could be why

or maybe water flow and placement if they are same species
